Uttarayan is a social association founded in 1978 by Bengalis in Hyderabad. It has grown over the years and is now a well-known socio-cultural organization. They organize various events and programs during festivals like Kali Puja, Diwali, Saraswati Puja, and Bengali New Year. They also have programs for Rabindra Jayanthi, an annual picnic, and a drama festival. Both Bengalees and non-Bengalees participate in their cultural activities.
