Dear Esteemed Members,
A warm greetings to all on the auspicious occasion of Sree Sree Kali Puja. As we gather to celebrate Kali Puja this year which holds immense spiritual and cultural significance, I am overwhelmed to see our Uttarayan club come together unitedly with open hearts and open minds.
Maa Kali represents “Shakti”…the destroyer of evil. Maa Kali is the personification of tender love, power, wealth, beauty and all the virtues. May all her blessings be bestowed on us. Kali puja celebration by Uttarayan club promotes harmony and unity, spreads love, compassion, community engagement which embraces people of all cultural, spiritual and ethnic backgrounds.
As we enter the 44th year of Kali Puja & Deepavali Celebration this year, I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks and gratitude to each and every member for their untiring contribution to the success of every event of our club. Your passion, dedication and enthusiasm are the driving forces behind every celebration along with this grand Kali Puja & Deepavali celebration which promises to be a celebration of reverence, camaraderie and festivity.
The centerpiece of our celebration will be the traditional Kali Puja. Apart from that, our members will be showcasing their talents through various cultural programs. The entire event will be an opportunity to strengthen our bonds as a community.
While being in the mood of festivity, we mourn the demise of our beloved Aroni da, Shri Aroni Sen, who had been a pillar of support and strength for us for the last 44 years. His immense contribution towards the club will never be forgotten.
We have also lost a few more senior and beloved members of our club…Shri Suprakash Lahiri and Shri S.N.Chatterjee. May their souls rest in peace. Aroni da, Suprakash da and S.N.Chatterjee da will remain in our heart forever.
May this festival illuminate our lives with positivity and pave the way for even more enriching cultural experiences.
